The FWPHA High Score Program runs September 1st to August 31st
with a finals traditionally in September and a dinner banquet in December.
The program counts all USEF shows listed from the participating barns (Shows)
and double points for FWPHA hosted shows.
All divisions require two to compete to count for points.
Trainers must be members in good standing of a PHA chapter.
Flat Divisions:
Walk Trot (Equation or Pleasure) - Open to all ages
Walk Trot Canter (Equation or Pleasure) - Open to all ages
Cross Rail Divisions - Junior and Adults may be combined.
Short Stirrup Equitation - 12 and under
Short Stirrup Hunter - Riders 12 and under
Short Stirrup Medal - 12 and under - 12 points to qualify
Long Stirrup Equitation - 18 and over
Long Stirrup Hunter - Riders 18 and over
Long Stirrup Medal - 18 and over - 12 points to qualify
2 Foot Divisions - Junior and Adults may be combined.
Pre-Children's Equitation - 17 and under
Pre-Children's Medal - 17 and under- 12 points to qualify
Pre-Adult Equitation - 18 and over
Pre-Adult Medal - 18 and over- 12 points to qualify
Schooling Hunter Pony - Open to all ages
Schooling Hunter Horse - Open to all ages
Small/Medium Child Hunter Ponies - Riders 17 and under
2'6 Foot Divisions - Junior and Adults may be combined.
Children's Equitation - 17 and under
Children's Equitation Medal - 17 and under- 12 points to qualify
Modified Adult Equitation - 18 and over
Modified Adult Medal - 18 and over- 12 points to qualify
Low Hunters - Open to all rider and all horses/ponies
Low Child Hunters (Formally Modified Child Hunters) - 17 and under all horse / ponies
Low Adult Hunters (Formally Modified Adult Hunters) - 18 and over Amateurs only - all horse / ponies
Large Child Hunter Ponies - Riders 17 and under
NEW FOR 2022!
*If a show only offers 2'6 Low Hunters only the FWPHA will count 2'6 Low Hunters and also count as 2'6 Low Child/Adult Hunters points.
*If a show offers both the 2'6 Low Child/Adult Hunters and the 2'6 Modified Child/Adult Hunters FWPHA will count the 2'6 Low Child/Adult Hunters and will not count the 2'6 Modified Child/Adult Hunters for points.
*If a show offers 2'6 Low Hunters and the 2'6 Modified Child/Adult Hunters and does not offer the 2'6 Low Child/Adult Hunters the 2'6 Modified/Child hunters will be counted as the 2'6 Low Child/Adult Hunters
*This is to retire the 2'6 Modified Child/Adult hunters and replace with the 2'6 Low Child/Low Adults for which have the same class specifications but with the name change count for USHJA and other organizations as well as the FWPHA.

Junior Equitation - 17 and under
Junior Medal - 17 and under- 12 points to qualify
Adult Equitation - 18 and over
Adult Medal - 18 and over- 12 points to qualify
3' Low Hunters - Open to all rider and all horses/ponies
Children's Hunter Horse- 14 and Under
Children's Hunter Horse- 15 to17
Adult Hunters 18 to 35
Adult Hunters 36 and over
Jumper Divisions - Junior and Adults may be combined
2'6 Low Training Jumpers - Fences 2'3 to 2'6
Child Adult Jumpers Low - Fences 3' to 3'3
Practical or Horsemanship Exam
An oral exam of 5 questions makes up the Horsemanship Practical Exam
It is 5 questions 10 points each with partial credit based on the riders equitation division
Riders make take more than one and points are allotted to the respective division
The Exam is offered at the FWPHA Double Point Shows and at the year end finals
